New Comic Book Reviews Week of 6/11/14
This has been a very busy week here at Pop Culture Maven. With E3 in town this week it’s been a whirlwind of craziness and trying to do a ton of things then try to update the site.

A lot of books came out this week including three all ages books that made the list this week. There is a slight change in where the book for review are now purchased from.
Another big week of new and returning books to the reviews that is making it really hard to keep up with them all.
As we head into the holiday weekend you might want to stop by your local comic book store on your travels to check out this weeks new comics.
In September 30th 1960 a milestone in animation history was made when Hanna-Barbera’s The Flintstones premiered on ABC. It ran for six season and opened the door to other prime time series from Hanna-Barbera The other series were Top Cat (1961), The Jetsons (1962) Where’s Huddles (1970) and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (19702).
Not even the power outage at my local comic shop this Wednesday could keep me from picking up this weeks new comic books.
It seems lately that finding time to do most anything is tough with it getting super busy at the old 9 to 5 gig and catching a cold and just shaking that off too.
Due to a long workday at the 9 to 5 job that actually pays the bills and for this site, there are just going to be a few books reviewed today and over the weekend I will catch up and hopefully do another review post for monday (fingers crossed).
A very busy week here at Pop Culture Maven leading up to Saturdays big Free Comic Book Day and I will be at Metropolis Comics in Bellflower CA helping give out free comics till we run out.
It’s been a whirlwind of a week with WonderCon Anaheim last weekend and getting sick and busy week at the old 9 to 5 job I’m lucky that I had time to even read this weeks new books.
