DC Comics recently announced that they are re-launching a line of Hanna-Barbera line of comics but instead of aiming them just for kids they are having top talent make them for a wider audience just like the original animated series did back in the 1960’s.
The National Board of Review just released their list of the best film of the year and it was quite a surprise that Mad Max:
Cosplay has become synonymous with geek conventions and SDCC brings out the big guns each year. While there are a ton of people dressed up I try to find some of the more unusual and imaginative cosplayers each year.

It’s been very difficult to get these reviews up on the site and I thank you for bearing with me. First there was SDCC where there was no chance that any reviews were going up that week and then last week I came down with the dreaded Con Crud that took me down for the count.
As we come to the end of DC’s Convergence and now the Marvel’s Secret Wars flooding of the shelves there are thankfully many other great books from other comic publishers that make up for the event fatigue.
