It’s going to be short and sweet this week due to a hectic life schedule so here we go! Superman American Alien #1 DC Comics Writer Max Landis, Artist Nick Dragotta, Colorist Alex Guimaraes, Letterer John Workman This new mini series about the life of Superman is supposed to be seven short stories about different time periods in Superman’s life and the first issue takes place as a young boy and he is just discovering that he can fly but can’t control it.
A huge week of new books and I will try to fit in as many as I can. Some of the reviews might be on the short side to speed things up.
Things are back on track this week and there are a lot of comics to get to. I am also going to have a special comic book of the week that will highlight a title that gets my highest recommendation.
I want to say something before we get to this weeks reviews. All of the reviews of comics that I do here are the physical printed versions of the comic.
Howard The Duck #1 Marvel Comics Writer Chip Zdarsky, Artist Joe Quinones, Colorist Rico Renzi, Letterer Travis Lanham Doing a new Howard the Duck without the original creator Steve Gerber is always going to be a tough road to travel.

While it was a small release week because of the landing of Marvels new Star Wars comic that had most other publishers releasing a fewer books this week it seems like but there are still some good and not so good.
This was one big week for new comics. Lots of new and returning books are making reviews more difficult each week.
This week brings a nice mix to the comic reviews. Some new books and returning ones make this weeks list. Gotham Academy #2 DC Comics Writers Becky Cloonan and Brenden Fletcher, Artist Karl Kerschl, Colorist Dave McCaig and John Rauch, Letterer Steve Wands I liked the first issue of this new series and hoped that it would continue in the second issue.
