Frankenstein Alive, Alive #4 IDW Writer Steve Niles, Story, Layouts and Artist Bernie Wrightson, Artist Kelley Jones, Letterer Robbie Robbins It was many years in the making to finish this final issue and it’s one of the most bittersweet comics that I have read in a long time.
Gideon Falls Review
Gideon Falls #1 Image Comics Writer Jeff Lemire, Artist Andrea Sorrentino, Colorist Dave Stewart Tomorrow is the day that we finally get to see the long-awaited reunion of the Green Arrow team doing their own series this time and its been well worth the wait.

The Terrifics #1 DC Comics Writer Jeff Lemire, Penciller Ivan Reis, Inker Joe Prado, Colorist Marcelo Maiolo, Letterer Tom Napolitano So far the DC new age of heroes has been off to a more miss than hit but leave it to Lemire and Reis to hit the ground running with The Terrifics.

Death Bed #1 Vertigo Comics Writer Joshua Williamson, Artist Riley Rossmo, Colorist Ivan Plascencia, Letterer Deron Bennett It’s been a tough road at Vertigo lately but they keep plugging along with books here and there with both hits and misses but Death Bed might just be the brightest spot Vertigo has had in quite a while.

Death of Love #1 Image Comics Writer Justin Jordan, Artist Donal Delay, Colorist Omar Estevez and Felipe Sobreiro, Letterer Rachel Deering This book is quite a wild ride and while I liked it there is still a lot of mystery left to uncover and this is a good way to start things off.

Swamp Thing Winter Special #1 DC Comics Writers Len Wein and Tom King, Artists Kelley Jones and Jason Fabok, Colorist Michelle Madsen and Brad Anderson, Letterer Deron Bennett This release is a very bittersweet comic because it is the last work of the great Len Wein on one of his greatest creations Swamp Thing.

The Further Adventures of Nick Wilson #1 Image Comics Writers Eddie Gorodetsky & Marc Andreyko, Artist Stephen Sadowski, Colorist Hi-Fi, Letterer A Larger World Studio It’s hard in todays comic book market to come up with something that is both familiar and fresh and Gorodetsky and Andreyko have simply done that here.
