DC Comics Rebirth relaunch starts this week so it going to be a very interesting summer to see if DC can bring back lapsed readers with yet another relaunch of the line.
DC: The New Frontier DC Comics Writer and Artist Darwyn Cooke, Colorist Dave Stewart, Letterer Jared K. Fletcher I was trying to come up with a post today but I’m still finding it hard to process the passing of Darwyn Cooke.
Things are back in the groove this week with a few new #1 books and I am able to keep up with some of the ongoing series.
With the holidays right around the corner there are lots of great book ideas for that special comic book reader in your life and one of the books at the top of the list needs to be Graphic Ink The DC Comics Art of Darwyn Cooke.
It’s been very difficult to get these reviews up on the site and I thank you for bearing with me. First there was SDCC where there was no chance that any reviews were going up that week and then last week I came down with the dreaded Con Crud that took me down for the count.
This weeks newest “outrage” on the internet was the upcoming Batgirl #41 Joker variant cover by artist Rafael Albuquerque of American Vampire fame.
With the success of the Marvel superhero films it’s was no big surprise that Warner Bros. who owns DC comics has decided to hit the overdrive button to play catch up with their own universe of films.
The long-awaited premier of The Flash premiered tonight on the CW and got off to a solid start for a pilot.
Another week and another set of reviews. There were a lot of new #1 books this week and it made up for last weeks weaker selections.
