With a light week for new comic books and the Thanksgiving holiday there are just a few new comic books to review this week, so I will keep it short and moving along.
DC Rebirth is back this week along with some new indy books that made for a nice mix of comic books this week.
While the premiere of Preacher on AMC hits next week, I was one of the lucky few that got to see an advance screening of the pilot at WonderCon back in March and to say that it blew the audience away was an understatement.
Before we get going on this, I want to say that I am not defending or condemning DC Comics with this story.
It’s quite a large week for new comic book reviews so to get through as many as possible they might be a little briefer than usual, so on with them we go.
Twilight Children #4 Vertigo Comics Writer Gilbert Hernandez, Artist & Letterer Darwyn Cooke, Colorist Dave Stewart The final chapter of this wonderful mini series comes to a somewhat somber conclusion that is going to divide a lot of readers on this.
You may have noticed that last week I had intended to review new comic books from 12/16 along with 12/23 releases.
Thankfully this was a lighter week of new releases and there were both good and bad this week and a couple of returning series, so let’s get to it!
Another huge week of new comics and both new and returning comics are reviewed this week. I am a bit under the weather so I will see how many I can fit in and hopefully they are coherent.
