One of the best panels of WonderCon was also one of the first. If you ever get a chance to go to a Sergio (Aragones) and Mark (Evanier) show at a convention, do yourself a favor and make time to go to this panel.
This is the 3rd year that Scott Dunbier has hosted the IDW Artist Editions panel at WonderCon. IDW President Gary Goldstein arrived later in the panel after Scott had announced the current and upcoming slate of titles.
There were some great panels that the Long Beach Comic Con Expo had at this last weekends show but one of the ones that was my favorite was the Mike Kunkel panel.
Over the weekend the Long Beach Comic Con Expo was in town and this was the biggest expo yet. Moving to the huge arena at the Long Beach convention center this marked the continuing expansion of the spring expo event.
Comic book/geek conventions come in all shapes and sizes. Some are single day gatherings and others are multi-day events. They all have several things in common, cosplay, superheroes/villains, vendors with toys, books, original art, and a sense of community.
