The other day Steve Niles posted on his Facebook page about Clydene Nee needing help because of recent health issues. While I do not know Clydene personally I do know her because of the many years of going to San Diego Comic Con and enjoying the Artist Alley area.
My Comic-Con badge says “Professional Guest.” It’s supposed to indicate that I was the guest of a professional, because I’m not in the industry myself, but upon reflection it is an apt description of the way I approached Comic-Con this year, and how I was treated.
IDW has really set the standard for the comic industry when it comes to hardcover books and collector editions. One of the books I have been an avid collector of is the Artist Editions.
Were back with some more photos from last weeks geekpalooza that is San Diego Comic Con. My fellow geek and friend Glenn (you can find him over here on twitter) helped me get some more photos of the chaos that cripple the city of San Diego for a week every July.
Today at SDCC was the second helping for Fannibals. Last year only Bryan Fuller and David Slade were on hand to talk about the first season.
The tough thing about having a 9 to 5 job and trying to run a website sometimes does not mix well.
Well we are all exhausted after five days at the biggest geek gathering in the United States in San Diego. SDCC has come to and end and we are trying to get photos and stories together.
Well we survived preview night yesterday. It was real zoo. The lines for ANY exclusives was very long. Finding the BOOM!
Pop Culture Maven is once again heading to SDCC this year and it’s shaping up to be another three ring circus of geekdom.
