There are a lot of comic book projects on Kickstarter by both new and established talent but it’s always hard to filter through them to find the gems.
Over the weekend the Long Beach Comic Con 2015 was back in town for its fall show and it seemed that attendance was larger than last years show.
It was just three years ago that DC announced the biggest shakeup in the company’s history (not counting the DC Implosion of 1978) with the relaunching of the entire DC Comics line with no ties to the previous continuity.
After being stuffed with a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. The next task of the holiday is Black Friday shopping that seems to start earlier each year.
Comic book/geek conventions come in all shapes and sizes. Some are single day gatherings and others are multi-day events. They all have several things in common, cosplay, superheroes/villains, vendors with toys, books, original art, and a sense of community.
