Hi-Fi Fight Club #1 Boom! Box Writer Carly Usdin, Penciller Nina Vakueua, Inker Irene Flores, Colorist Rebecca Nalty, Letterer JIm Campbell I love that Boom Studios has been trying to push more comics aimed at a more non traditional comic base and this new series is another good step in the right direction.
Dark Nights: Metal #1 DC Comics Writer Scott Snyder, Penciller Greg Capullo, Inker Jonathan Glapion, Colorist FCO, Letterer Steve Wands The bar was set pretty low for this book for me because the two prelude books were not very good and very drawn out to get the story going.
Lark’s Killer #1 1First Comics Writer Bill Willingham, Artist Mark Dos Santos, Colorist Salvatore Aiala, Letterer Thomas Mauer Willingham is back with his new series that is a bit familiar but different at the same time.

Mage: The Hero Denied #0 Image Comics Writer and Artist Matt Wagner, Colorist Brennan Wagner, Letterer Dave Lanphear I’ll be really honest on this one, I never thought that Wagner would ever finish the final chapter in the Mage Trilogy.
Sacred Creatures #1 Image Comics Writers Pablo Raimondi & Klaus Janson, Artist Pablo Raimondi, Colorist Chris Chuckry, Letterer Tom Orzechowski This double sized debut from Raimondi and Janson has lots of twist and turns for a first issue that there is both good and not so good things with it.
A strong finish for the DC/Looney Tunes crossover books with another big winner of the comic book of the week award.
A huge week for new comic books with lots of new series and more of the DC/Looney Tunes specials hit the stands this week.
