Stardate 94291.51, On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the first airing of Star Trek on NBC on September 8th 1966 at 8:30 pm began a journey of Gene Roddenberry vision of the future that has Lived Long and Prospered for 50 years now and continues to entertain and influence film and reality today.
Bryan Fuller has been selected as the showrunner of the new Star Trek television series that CBS is prepping for their digital platform CBS All Access that has a tentative date of 2017.
It’s been very difficult to get these reviews up on the site and I thank you for bearing with me. First there was SDCC where there was no chance that any reviews were going up that week and then last week I came down with the dreaded Con Crud that took me down for the count.
Last Sunday I attended the press launch party for the relaunching of Twin Galaxies that will be a part of the Pinball Museum in Banning California that is also the home of the Arcade Expo.
This week brings both old and new comics back to the review pile. So let’s get going shall we? The Kitchen #3 Vertigo Comics Writer Ollie Masters, Artist Ming Doyle, Colorist Jordie Bellaire, Letterer Clem Robins Vertigo has put out some really solid books lately and The Kitchen continues to impress.
