Last week I did a story about how kids of today grow up without the joy of getting up early on Saturday and plopping down in front of the television and starting the weekend off with a bang.
The other day Steve Niles posted on his Facebook page about Clydene Nee needing help because of recent health issues. While I do not know Clydene personally I do know her because of the many years of going to San Diego Comic Con and enjoying the Artist Alley area.
Nick Cardy has sadly passed away on November 3rd 2013. He had a long and great art career in comics and later in hollywood.
IDW has really set the standard for the comic industry when it comes to hardcover books and collector editions. One of the books I have been an avid collector of is the Artist Editions.
I love to get great comic reprints in a hardcover format. It allows you revisit great stories and have them in a much better presentation than it was originally published.
Long Beach Comic Con has become a nice local L.A. show with a full convention in the fall and a one day expo in May.
IDW has set the bar in the comic industry with its releases of the Artist Editions. What is an Artist Edition you ask?
