Boy it seems like every week there are so many new number one books that hit the shelves and then get farther behind on catching up.
I was inspired to write todays story from a post over on The Beat (this is a great blog run by Heidi MacDonald) about the passing of pioneering comic book retailer Gary Edson Arlington.

It was quite the week for comic books. There were a lot of new #1 issues this week so I am going to concentrate on them for this round but I snuck in a returning champion.
There were quite a few books this week. Unfortunately a busy week at the regular 9 to 5 gig cut into reading and reviewing more.
Well I am finally back to getting new post up on the site. The holidays and family and friends visiting pushed back post to today.
2013 has come and gone. As with any year there is good and bad for us all. I hope for all of us that 2014 is a year that brings hope and prosperity to each and every one of you.
This is the next to last week for new comics released in 2013 and there are some new mixed in with some returning books.
