Jackie Estrada On Saturday afternoon at Meltdown comic was a celebration of Jackie Estrada’s new book Comic Book People Volume 2.
Jackie Estrada (pictured above with her husband Batton Lash) has been going to the San Diego Comic Con since the early days of the show and has been taking personal photos of the incredible comic book industry talent was there over the years.
One of the best panels of WonderCon was also one of the first. If you ever get a chance to go to a Sergio (Aragones) and Mark (Evanier) show at a convention, do yourself a favor and make time to go to this panel.
This is the 3rd year that Scott Dunbier has hosted the IDW Artist Editions panel at WonderCon. IDW President Gary Goldstein arrived later in the panel after Scott had announced the current and upcoming slate of titles.

Bad Machinery: The Case of the Good Boy (Hardcover) Oni Press Writer and Artist John Allison This weekend while at WonderCon the good folks over at Oni Press had a booth and while talking to a couple of women at the booth they highly recommended a set of books Bad Machinery by John Allison.
One of the things that I want to do with Tales From the Shelf is to spotlight both mainstream publishers and smaller publishers books to show the diversity of books that are out there.
