Over the New Year holiday weekend I was finally able see The Hateful Eight in one of the 96 cinemas in the United States that have been retro fitted with 70mm film projectors to show the special roadshow engagement of The Hateful Eight.
So this will catch up with the last two weeks of new comic books and will get us back on track for this weeks new comics that will hit local comic shops tomorrow.
You may have noticed that last week I had intended to review new comic books from 12/16 along with 12/23 releases.
Normally on Fridays I review this weeks new comic books but as we all know this is no normal week. Between the upcoming holidays and the release of Star Wars:
On of the great and delicious treats at Disneyland is the Mickey shaped beignets at the Min Julep Bar in New Orleans Square.
Thankfully this was a lighter week of new releases and there were both good and bad this week and a couple of returning series, so let’s get to it!
Reviewing Hannibal Season 3 is very bittersweet. It’s the last season of the regular series due to the cancellation of the show on NBC and Bryan Fuller is now working on a new show American Gods based on the Neil Gaiman novel for Starz.
Another huge week of new comics and both new and returning comics are reviewed this week. I am a bit under the weather so I will see how many I can fit in and hopefully they are coherent.
Well it’s that time of the year to start thinking about the holiday gift giving season and with Black Friday behind us there are only 25 more shopping days until christmas.
frHopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday and today kicks off the Christmas shopping season with Black Friday. Make sure you stop by your local comic shop and most are offering special deals all weekend long.
