New Comic Book Reviews Week Of 9/3/14
Why does it always seem that when you have a holiday on a Monday that makes the work week shorter seem so much more busy and you never quite know what day it is.

It’s the last week of summer and while television shows are reruns and summer blockbusters imploded all over the screens, there were lots of great comics that came out over the summer and the fall promises to continue it’s hot streak.
It’s no wonder that I never catch up with comic book reviews because there are six new #1 issues that hit the shelves this week.
This weeks reviews are going to be on the light side because it was a smaller number of books this week, and the regular gig has been very busy this week.
With SDCC last week the whole comic reviews when to hell and a hand basket so this week I will try to catch up with books for both last week and this week.
Only two more days until San Diego Comic Con 2014 kicks off with preview night on Wednesday and it looks to be one of the biggest ones yet.
Well its the week before the SDCC flood of book that hit the stands and the convention. I will be at SDCC next week so next weeks reviews are probably not going to make it next Friday.
There are so many panels going on at San Diego Comic Con that it’s sometimes hard to figure out which ones to go to.
So long story short this week. I got a nasty eye infection (yuck!) so both reading and writing reviews is a real strain on them so I will try to get to as many as I can before they fall out.
There were certainly a lot of fireworks in this weeks new comics. What better way to spend the holiday then reading some independent comics that came out this week.
